The School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Lancashire is one of the newest veterinary schools in the United Kingdom and was established to widen access to veterinary education while preparing graduates for modern veterinary practice.
The School combines scientific knowledge, clinical skills, animal welfare, professional development and practical experience through an innovative, student-centred curriculum. Its mission is to develop compassionate, resilient and highly skilled veterinary professionals capable of meeting the challenges of contemporary animal healthcare.
